Quality Technician Topy America - 3.1 Frankfort, KY Job Details Full-time $20.64 - $24.19 an hour 3 days ago Benefits Disability insurance Paid time off 401(k) matching Life insurance Qualifications Mechanical blueprint interpretation Blueprint specification interpretation Statistical Process Control Math Monitoring processing parameters Measurement (quality control) Full Job Description Job summary Under general direction by Quality Assurance Lead, Assistant Quality Manager or Quality Manager, perform various quality inspection and testing activities. Ensure that the results of inspection and tests performed conform to Topy, Regulatory or Customer Standards. Shifts Available 2nd- 4p-12:30a 3rd 12a- 8:30a Responsibilities Perform necessary tests and inspections as directed by the QA lead or designee. Perform daily inspection activities (refer to tables A-D) per customer requirements, document and report results as necessary. Report deviations to the necessary people so corrections can be made Perform tasks other than scheduled inspection required to maintain the effectiveness of the quality system.
These tasks can include:
5S, Un-scheduled testing or inspection needed for investigation to support corrective actions or continual improvement., Possible coverage in other areas of manufacturing (i.e., production, forklift driving, cleaning) Report inspection data via inspection check sheets and other required data reporting. Assist QA engineer(s) for their activities as instructed. Train Inspectors or other associates per Inspector Training Standard as instructed by Quality Lead or management. Performs various tasks to support departmental operations per the Leads direction and approval. Educational and experience requirement High school education and minimum of four years of work experience with quality assurance or equivalent experience approved by the Manager. Maintain a high level of confidence and have controlled decision making abilities Experience with blueprint reading, statistical process control, mathematical and measurement abilities Benefits Weekly Pay PTO after 90 days Perfect attendance bonus Boot voucher Company paid disability and life insurance 401k with company match
