Job Description

OneSparQ is seeking multiple skilled CMT Technicians to support our client's Louisiana locations in Shreveport, LA, and New Orleans, LA.
Responsibilities:
Perform various tests on construction materials during active projects. Sample and test concrete from ready-mix trucks using wheelbarrows; report results to contractors to confirm if it meets specifications. Collect soil samples in buckets from areas that will be used as subgrade and send them to the lab. Perform pin and plate and nuclear density testing on road materials and report results to contractors. Perform asphalt density testing. Inspect rebar and site conditions before concrete placement for safety and compliance.
Required Skills:
ACI Field Testing Technician Grade I or 6+ months of materials testing/inspection experience Speak, read, and write English; strong communication skills (email, phone, reporting) Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure and dial gauge Safety-focused mindset (strict adherence to safety rules, including no phone use while driving)

Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
