Position Type:
Direct Hire Advantage Technical is partnering with a precision manufacturing company in Beverly, MA to place a Quality Control Inspector with a sharp eye for detail and hands-on experience with mechanical inspection. If you take pride in getting it right the first time, this one's for you. What You'll Do (Job Duties) Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspection of precision components, including First Article Inspections (FAIs) Record inspection results, summarize rework and waste, and input data into quality databases Review and approve material and special process certifications Follow detailed work instructions and shop routers for compliance with customer requirements Resolve issues and respond to questions from operators, inspectors, and engineers Participate in tooling fixture and gauge projects Identify and contribute to cost reduction initiatives using Lean Manufacturing principles Provide inspection support across all departments What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with mechanical inspection of precision parts 4 years of experience with inspection equipment including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and digital indicators Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and inspection instructions Familiarity with production travelers and work instructions Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs Benefits vary by client and are confirmed at the time of offer.
