Role Overview The Chemical Technician will be responsible for laboratory organization, the production of various reagents and lab consumables, and the quality inspection of production equipment Key Responsibilities- Instrument quality inspections and experiments with calibrated tools
- Running defined experiments to qualify reagents and consumables
- Production and testing of laboratory reagents
- Maintain laboratory supply levels
- Set up and maintain laboratory instruments
- Maintain detailed records of activities
- Learn and follow all Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs)
- Suggest revisions of SOPs and test methods
- Conduct analysis and interpret results Competencies & Attributes
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

- Laboratory skills
- Understanding of calculations and common conversions used in a laboratory setting

- This position is onsite 100% in our Billerica, MA office
- Requires up to no travel Job Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Ability and willingness to work odd hours or weekends, occasionally
- Learn and abide by all regulations and safety practices Education & Experience Required
- Associate Degree in Chemistry or related field required
- Six months to one year of laboratory experience needed
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word Preferred
