Role Overview The Chemical Technician will be responsible for laboratory organization, the production of various reagents and lab consumables, and the quality inspection of production equipment Key Responsibilities
  • Instrument quality inspections and experiments with calibrated tools
  • Running defined experiments to qualify reagents and consumables
  • Production and testing of laboratory reagents
  • Maintain laboratory supply levels
  • Set up and maintain laboratory instruments
  • Maintain detailed records of activities
  • Learn and follow all Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs)
  • Suggest revisions of SOPs and test methods
  • Conduct analysis and interpret results Competencies & Attributes
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Laboratory skills
  • Understanding of calculations and common conversions used in a laboratory setting
  • Knowledge of common safety practices in laboratories Travel
  • This position is onsite 100% in our Billerica, MA office
  • Requires up to no travel Job Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
  • Ability and willingness to work odd hours or weekends, occasionally
  • Learn and abide by all regulations and safety practices Education & Experience Required
  • Associate Degree in Chemistry or related field required
  • Six months to one year of laboratory experience needed
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word Preferred
