  • Company in Brockton, MA is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented to join their powder coating team. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a steady hand, and a solid understanding of masking techniques to ensure products are coated with precision and meet the highest quality standards.
  • Key Responsibilities:
Masking:
Apply precision masking materials (tapes, plugs, and other devices) to parts, ensuring exact coverage of areas that must remain free of powder coating.
    Inspection:
    Inspect parts before and after masking to ensure accuracy and surface integrity.
      Preparation:
      Organize and prepare masking materials, ensuring all tools are available and in good condition.
        Collaboration:
        Work closely with management and quality teams to meet coating requirements and maintain high-quality finishes.
          Safety Compliance:
          Follow all safety protocols, including proper handling of chemicals, tools, and equipment.
            Cleanup:
            Keep the work area clean and free of debris.
              Problem-Solving:
              Identify and resolve issues related to masking quality or defects.
                Documentation:
                Maintain accurate records of masking activities, including materials used, inspection results, and process adjustments.
                Qualifications:
                • Previous experience in manufacturing, powder coating, or related field preferred. Precision masking experience is a plus.
                • Excellent attention to detail and ability to apply masking with high precision.
                • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
                • Knowledge of safety standards in a manufacturing environment.
                Preferred Skills:
                • Familiarity with masking materials and tools.
                • Understanding of powder coating techniques and processes.
                • Experience with quality control and inspection procedures.
                • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Physical Requirements
                • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination for intricate masking tasks.
                • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in a manufacturing setting.
