Job Description

QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR
Inspection of machined parts. Maintain compliance in quality regulations and ensure quality products departing to customers. Segregate all defective material. Complete and process Non Conformance Reports (NCR's) for rejected materials when needed. Handle returns from customers and adjust when necessary. Ensure that all manufactured parts conform to the customers specifications, as well as our own Quality Management System. This includes first piece, in-process, and final inspection reports. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of Excel and Word documents. An understanding of measurement tools, methods and machining processes is required. Read, understand and interpret Customer Drawings, Blueprints, and Process Sheets to assure product compliance. Ability to understand GD&T requirements. Knowledge of arithmetic involving decimals and fractions and its application to use sketches and measuring instruments. Set-up and utilize necessary inspection equipment to perform inspections, such as, Micrometers, Height Gages, CMM (manual or automatic), Vision System, Gage Pins, Calipers, Gage Blocks, Indicators, etc. Have good communication skills and be able to prioritize and manage completion of projects per customer delivery requirements. Summary As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be essential in ensuring that machined products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. Your core responsibilities will include conducting quality audits, inspections, and analyses to uphold quality management systems. Your expertise in GD&T and proficiency with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers will be vital. Additionally, your communication skills and familiarity with ISO standards and FDA regulations will support our commitment to excellence in manufacturing.
