Production QA Technician Chelsea - MA Are you passionate about quality assurance in a dynamic production environment? Our client is seeking a dedicated Production QA Technician to join their team and ensure the highest standards of product quality and safety. If you thrive in a fast-paced setting and have a keen eye for detail, this opportunity is for you! Responsibilities of the Production QA Technician Collaborate with the Team Leader and Supervisor to supply production lines with products according to the production schedule. Inspect products for non-conformities, address issues, and inform the Supervisor of any concerns. Ensure smooth changeovers and maintain an uninterrupted flow of products. Coordinate personnel to staff lines efficiently, meeting productivity and department standards. Enforce all safety rules and procedures, including general housekeeping and personal protective equipment requirements. Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area, ensuring compliance with OSHA, USDA, HACCP, and GMP requirements. Provide coaching and guidance to team members and trainees on correct methods and procedures. Requirements of the Production QA Technician High school diploma or GED, or a combination of education and relevant work experience. Working knowledge of production process flow and HACCP requirements. Ability to read and interpret safety and food safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to deal with several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations and interpret bar graphs. Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and work in refrigerated and wet conditions with moderate noise levels.
