Full Job Description Job Title:
Quality Control Specialist Pay Rate:
$30-$35/hr.
Location:
Danvers, MA 01923
Shift:
M-F 1st shift (flexible hours)
Essential Job Functions:
Independently manage activities related to Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) and Discrepant Material Reports (DMRs) with minimal supervision. Process incoming RMAs, generate DMR documentation, and coordinate material disposition activities. Support engineering teams in evaluating nonconforming materials through testing, measurement, and microscope inspection. Interpret engineering drawings and utilize standard measuring instruments for inspection tasks. Verify dimensions using both imperial and metric measurement systems. Collaborate effectively with employees across multiple departments and organizational levels. Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work performed. Complete additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience working with ERP systems; Macola experience is preferred. Minimum of 1 year of experience handling DMRs and RMAs. Skilled in the use of various hand-held precision measuring instruments. Ability to perform detailed mechanical inspections and precision measurements. 3-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or a related field. #CNX200
