Job Description
Quality Inspector needed to perform product inspections, operate measurement equipment, document results, support MRB activities, and maintain quality records. Job Requirements High school diploma or GED required Prior inspection experience required Experience using measurement hand tools Ability to understand inspection documentation Ability to read and interpret technical prints and customer specifications Ability to read and comprehend written and verbal instructions in English Basic computer skills Microsoft Office proficiency Familiarity with ISO 13485 and CFR 820 regulations General understanding of Statistical Process Control Proficiency with standard dimensional gauges, including calipers, micrometers, drop indicators, and comparators Experience completing inspection quality records Experience conducting visual and dimensional inspections Preferred Skills Vision system experience Experience with Keyence Optical Measurement Systems Experience with Micro Vu Video Measuring Machines Experience setting up and operating CMMs Experience using optical comparators, including standard and eCAD systems Experience using pull-force testers Experience supporting First Article Inspections Experience supporting in-process inspections Experience supporting validation activities Experience with Device History Records Experience with MRB processes and nonconforming material control Job Responsibilities Conduct daily inspections and communicate findings to quality teams and area managers Operate specialized inspection and test equipment to verify and qualify products Use CMMs, vision systems, optical comparators, micrometers, calipers, drop indicators, and pull-force testers Perform final product release activities Review documentation and verify dimensions of received materials Complete First Article and in-process inspections with Quality Engineering guidance Support validation activities through measurement and documentation Conduct visual and dimensional in-process inspections Enter data to support quality and performance trend monitoring Complete inspection quality records and Device History Records Assess nonconforming products and identify process issues Recommend corrective or preventive actions Identify, segregate, tag, and log nonconforming material Support Material Review Board activities Consult on material disposition Evaluate nonconforming material and review product flow steps Conduct follow-up and effectiveness checks with Quality Engineering guidance
Pay:
