Job Description

QA Technician —
Summary:
This QA Technician role focuses on electrical testing of control cabinets used with high-voltage equipment. The work involves reading schematics, performing point-to-point and power testing, using jumpers to energize circuits, and checking results against system design specifications. Requirements Experience reading electrical schematics and tracing circuits in control panels, cabinets, or similar electrical assemblies. Comfortable performing point-to-point checks, power testing, and basic troubleshooting on 125V/120VAC circuits. Ability to follow detailed test procedures, document findings, and learn client-specific testing methods and equipment. Responsibilities Perform schematic-based testing of control cabinets for high-voltage equipment. Inject power into circuits using jumpers and verify circuit behavior against design specifications. Identify wiring, continuity, or functional issues and communicate results clearly to the team. Important Notes This is a full-time role near/in Norwood, MA with a Monday-Friday first-shift schedule, generally starting at 6:00 a.m. The role is hands-on and performed at the worksite, with training provided on testing methods and equipment. Overtime may be available based on workload, and candidates should be ready for standard onboarding requirements.
