Quality Engineer Temp-Secure Staffing Sterling, MA Job Details Full-time $70,000 - $90,000 a year 1 day ago Qualifications Quality records maintenance Packing Safety regulations Packaging Quality control records management Full Job Description nterprets detailed blueprints, work orders, engineering specifications, and routing sheets to determine production standards and tolerance limits. Experience with CAD software ( ex: Solidworks ) Performs inspections on first piece, in process, purchased part and finished material and products, ensuring conformance to specifications. Tests finished products for functionality, dimensions, fit, and appearance. Performs tests including hardness testing and cycle testing. Segregates and routes product for re-work or returns as needed. Completes all required records and paperwork to include inspection reports, damage reports, return reports, and re-work orders. Processes updated or created to conform to products. Ensures finished product is packaged and loaded correctly to minimize possible damage during transportation. Analyzes inspection results and assist in addressing and resolving problems causing deviations from existing standards. Communicates with managers noted deviations of tolerances and quality. Recommends modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within standards. Complies with all safety and hazard material regulations. Provide training and guidance to team members Calibrate inspection equipment to NIST standard and document. Fixture and assemble products as required for manufacturing or finish products for shipping.
Pay:
$70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
