Engages in facility problem solving activities to reduce scrap, material reduction, increase capability, and productivity. Addresses daily quality concerns and questions. Offers recommendations as required. Troubleshoots manufacturing problems and quality issues. Works with Operations and Quality personnel to investigate, collect and analyze data to resolve and implement corrective action, where applicable. Work closely with operation teams to ensure process controls are in place and adequate to meet standard requirements. Responsible for accuracy and timely inspection/calibration of monitoring and measuring devices. Ensure that any non-conforming product is properly identified, quarantined and communicated. Examines material or product for surface defects such as cracks, pits, and incomplete welds. Verifies specified dimensions of product or material. Performs other related duties as required and assigned.Requirements:

Knowledge of specific and general safety policies and procedures as relates to plant and position. Must be proficient in computer skills - Excel, Word, and Outlook and SAP. Must have above average math and reasoning skills. Ability to perform applicable test requirements using the following equipment: micrometer, dial indicator, calipers, and OD tapes. Must be able to lift product, materials, and equipment as necessary to perform the job. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to read and write the English language. High School diploma/GED. Some manufacturing experience preferred.Hiring Range:
