Westaff is looking for a Quality Inspector in West Boylston, MA for an Immediate Start!
Location:
West Boylston, MA Shift:
Mon-Fri, 7:00am-3:30pmPay:
$20-$30/hr DOE We're looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to perform first article, in-process, and final inspections on complex electro-mechanical assemblies. You'll verify products against engineering specifications and determine acceptance or rejection based on established standards. Job Duties- Inspect electro-mechanical assemblies using visual and mechanical methods Perform PCB, cable & harness, and electro-mechanical inspections Complete inspection reports and document deviations Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) Use calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, feeler gauges, scales, multimeters Identify and document non-conforming material Apply GD&T principles Work independently while maintaining accuracy and urgency Qualifications • 3-5+ years inspection experience in the electronics industry PCB and cable/harness inspection knowledge
IPC-A-620
certification required (instructor level a plus) Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills Able to read blueprints, BOMs, and engineering docs Skilled with standard inspection tools Strong communication skills Works well with minimal supervision Solid understanding of quality processes and reporting Benefits for working withWestaff:
