Job Description

Quality Inspector II / EM Assembler Savvy Staffing is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Inspector II / EM Assembler to support manufacturing and quality operations within a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for performing electronic and mechanical assembly, conducting inspections, identifying quality issues, and ensuring products meet customer specifications and company standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong quality inspection experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Essential Responsibilities Perform electronic and mechanical assembly operations according to work instructions, blueprints, schematics, and manufacturing procedures Conduct in-process and final inspections on components and finished products Verify product quality using measuring tools, gauges, and testing equipment Identify, document, and report defects, discrepancies, and non-conforming materials Interpret specifications, engineering drawings, and quality standards Maintain accurate inspection and production records Assist in troubleshooting quality-related production issues Ensure compliance with company quality systems, safety policies, and customer requirements Train and assist other assemblers or inspectors as needed Support continuous improvement initiatives and production goals Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Qualifications Previous experience in quality inspection, electronics manufacturing, or mechanical assembly required Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation Experience using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges preferred Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Basic computer and data entry skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Strong communication and organizational skills High school diploma or equivalent required Physical Requirements Ability to stand, sit, bend, and move throughout the shift Ability to lift up to 25-50 pounds as needed Manual dexterity required for assembly and inspection tasks Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Pay:
$23.00 - $25.75 per hour
