QUALITY ASSURANCE TECHNICIAN II-III
JOB TITLE:
QUALITY ASSURANCE TECHNICIAN IIDEPARTMENT
QUALITY
ASSURANCEREPORTS TO
DIRECTOR
OF QUALITY ASSURANCECLASSIFICATION
NON-EXEMPTThis position may be filled at different levels depending on the selected candidate's qualifications and experience.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONPerforming and documenting inspections of manufacturing products and materials.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform inspection of manufactured parts and assemblies to provided data packages.
  • Document inspection results on approved forms.
  • Perform incoming inspection on raw material and outsourced processes.
  • Review and signoff on redlined drawings and engineering change requests.
  • Perform other duties as are necessary and/or required.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS LEVEL II
  • High school diploma and 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing Quality.
  • Able to read and understand engineering drawings.
  • Use of basic inspection tools (i.e. calipers / gauge blocks / thread gauges / micrometers).
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain results and methodologies.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS LEVEL III
  • High school diploma and 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing Quality.
  • Able to read and understand engineering drawings.
  • Use of basic inspection tools (i.e. calipers / gauge blocks / thread gauges / micrometers).
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain results and methodologies.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Associate's degree in related field
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to stand at a workstation for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
