Job Description
The Outbound Quality Specialist is responsible for activities and processes contributing to the best level of satisfaction of our customers. Working closely with international cross functional groups (Customer Experience, Plant Leads, Control Tower, Logistics, etc.) The Outbound Specialist will maintain processes and solutions which best satisfies all markets' demand while adhering to manufacturing plant's requirements with the goal of customer satisfaction. Outbound Specialist will work closely with Regional & Global teams to ensure all defects identified have a robust containment action in the manufacturing plant and monitors for corrective actions for effectiveness. In addition, the Outbound Specialist will actively roll out key quality initiatives / standards / best practices to respective plants / locations and help train, coach and monitor.
Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree 5+ years of manufacturing and/or quality experience Experience with vehicle certification, inspection processes, and/or QMS Strong Project Management, Organizational & Communication skills Active leadership and ability to influence others often without direct authority Demonstrated planning/priority setting and problem-solving skills Experience and working knowledge of Quality data systems (Quantic, PFS, QMS, Claim Analyzer, MCV, MSP, etc.), and strong skills of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) Ability to analyze, synthesize and translate data Ability to train in both classroom and shop-floor settings Ability to work autonomously and meet tight deadlines Ability to work flexible schedule to accommodate time zones in other countries/markets Regular travel to all NA Assembly plants, yards, ports and dealership including locations in Canada and Mexico, will be requiredPreferred Qualifications:
Experience with PQG, control plans, PFMEA, DVX/FTQ/DRL processes Experience with BIW, Paint, or General Assembly inspection and quality methods Strong data visualization and reporting skills Knowledge of SIS fundamentals and mistake-proofing strategies Experience with Launch and associated systemsSimilar jobs in Auburn Hills, MI
