Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Quality Technician and play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of quality across our manufacturing processes. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge quality systems, precision measurement tools, and industry regulations to deliver exceptional products. As a key player in our quality assurance efforts, you will actively participate in maintaining compliance with ISO 9001 and other critical standards, fostering continuous improvement and operational excellence. Duties Conduct thorough quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, CMM and vision inspection systems to verify product specifications. Perform detailed quality audits to assess adherence to ISO 9001 and other current standards. Utilize coordinate measuring machines (CMM) for complex dimensional analysis and data collection to support quality control initiatives. Implement and monitor quality systems to ensure compliance. Analyze inspection data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for process improvements. Support manufacturing teams by providing real-time feedback on quality issues and assisting in corrective actions. Participate in calibration and maintenance of precision measuring instruments to guarantee measurement accuracy. Conduct PPAP's, 8D's and quality audits. Skills Strong understanding of
ISO 9001
standards within manufacturing environments. Experience operating coordinate measuring machines (CMM). Skilled in the use of calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments for detailed inspections. Excellent analysis skills to interpret measurement data, identify deviations, and recommend corrective actions. Knowledge of quality audits, quality assurance procedures, and quality management principles to uphold rigorous standards. Ability to collect, document, and analyze data accurately for continuous process improvement initiatives. On the job training is possible if you lack experience in some of these areas, a good work ethic and willingness to learn goes a long way! Pay will be determined by experience.
