Quality Inspector Specialized Talent Acquisition Recruiting Team (START) Hamtramck, MI Job Details Full-time $20 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications Mechanical blueprint interpretation Measuring tapes Blueprint specification interpretation High school diploma or GED Dimensional measurements Full Job Description Job description: Quality Control inspects work in process & final product to ensure it meets quality standards.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Inspect product using gauges, coordinate measuring machine, protractor, coating thickness meter, and vision prior to shipment Generate & complete spreadsheets for final inspection data collection Provide support to production supervisors in identifying quality issues & helping to mitigate. Notify management or follow containment protocol when a systemic quality issue is discovered to minimize impact to customer and to production, as well as to minimize internal rework. Periodic verification of gages used in production according to quality procedures. All other duties as assigned by supervisor
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES
One-year experience in a Quality Technician role. Strong attention to detail. Ability to problem solve. Ability to read a tape measure. Able to read and interpret design drawings including blue prints and specifications.
