QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN
Liberty Plastics is searching for a full time Quality Technician for 3rd shift. Job Description Interprets and initiates various elements of the Liberty quality system. Inspects products and verifies processes meet system compliance with customer requirements/specifications. Provides input on quality problems and recommends process changes if necessary. Assists in and/or leads customer driven root cause analysis processes. Visually inspects customer part returns and determines disposition on any non-conforming product. Responsibilities Trains operators on inspection, packaging and labeling of products. Thoroughly inspects/monitors operators work to ensure policy conformance. Assists with on-site customer product sorts and re-inspections to resolve quality issues which may require lifting of 40 lbs. or more. Issues, maintains and implements activities relating to corrective and/or preventative action. Provides input on causes or reasons for quality problems and recommends process changes if necessary. Visually inspects customer part returns and determines disposition on any non-conforming products. Qualifications/Requirements High School diploma; or equivalent. Basic math/reading, fixture measurement skills including decimals and fractions. Ability to lift 40 pounds or more. Good written/verbal communication and interaction skills to communicate with internal and external contacts. Demonstrated ability to work without direct supervision. Demonstrated problem solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot processes and equipment. Basic knowledge of standard work, in-process control sheets, and quality standards related to job. Related work experience including part print understanding. Demonstrated strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills to communicate with supervisors. Hours 3rd
Shift:
10:30pm•7:00am (Hours may vary: 40•45 hours)
