Vision Systems Technician I (12 Hour Rotating Day/Night Shift) Reports to:
Electrode Inspection Manager Location:

Summary:
This position manages, analyzes and improves vision systems that are computer- or vision-controller-based. This role creates, monitors, and modifies the overall system, simulation and testing, and start-up, and employs multiple advanced resources to troubleshoot and create solutions.
Responsibilities:
Perform Omron or Keyence Stand-alone Vision Controller by using various inspection logic Perform PC based inspection program developed by vendor that using various inspection logic Be responsible for incident follow-up, root cause analysis and documentation Document control system and equipment configuration changes Ability to install, maintain and troubleshoot relay logic, inspection flow, control components - photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, Servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, tachometers and encoders Inspection method understanding ability to troubleshoot various status (I/O boards, encoder, light controller, modules and devices) Develop and maintain a good working relationship across all levels in the organization Ability to provide enriched feedback to enhance individual performance Completes all safety training as required Compliance with all ELS safety programs, policies, and procedures Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3
R Standards:
Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container Follow LGESMI existing cleaning SOP s during downtime (e.g. line stop, waiting time, etc.), which includes cleaning your designated machine and/or surrounding work area Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED required Vocational Certificate or Associates Degree preferred or equivalent, relevant experience
Experience:
1 to 3+ years of related machining experience or equivalent, relevant experience
Skills:
Planning and organizational skills Effective and efficient time management Strong attention to detail Creative, innovative, and solutions-oriented Problem solving and critical thinking skills Technically proficient and motivated to continuously improve
MS Office Suite Physical Requirements:
Must be able to properly and regularly utilize the following PPE for a period of up to 12 hours Safety glasses Steel-toed shoes Latex Gloves Nitrile Gloves Respirator Must be able to do the following repeatedly for a period of up to 12 hours up to 7 days a week Lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds Stoop, twist, bend Reach overhead Sit and/or stand
