Job Description

To ensure customer requirements are met at the point of operation, maintain gage calibration and provide needed support to production personnel. CMM programming, preferably PCDMIS, a plus Able to perform gage calibrations per internal work instructions Able to read blue prints and review engineering standards with regards to product quality Perform dimensional layouts as required for PPAP's Perform destruct testing Has a knowledge of gauging methods such as calipers, micrometer, optical comparator, pin gages, bore gages & hardness tester Knows miscrosoft office & basic computer skills Good problem solving skills Detail oriented, strong professional presence. Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to assure customer requirements Required to be a highly organized, self-motivated individual who can work independently Understanding of gauging system methodologies, including calibration and gage r&R's Basic understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, GD&T Excellent oral and written communication skills Will need to fill in for Quality Technicians when needed While performing the functions of this, the employee is reqularly required to stand, walk, and use hands. this position may require maneuvering or lifting of equipement such as products, tools, gauges or equipement.
