Job Description
The Powertrain Capacity Specialist plays a highly visible, crossfunctional role at the center of Stellantis' North America manufacturing supply chain. This position partners directly with critical suppliers and senior leaders across multiple organizations to protect production continuity while driving both shortterm execution and longterm recovery strategies for key components.
In this role, you will work handson with suppliers to develop and execute shortterm buildandship plans that support uninterrupted production at Stellantis manufacturing plants, while also shaping and monitoring longterm recovery plans that strengthen supply resilience. You will serve as a trusted connector across Engineering, Capacity Planning, Production Planning, Logistics, Supplier Quality, Purchasing, Materials Logistics Management, and plant leadership-breaking down barriers, accelerating decisions, and driving alignment.

The Powertrain Capacity Specialist operates in a fastpaced, highimpact environment within the Supply Chain Management (SCM) organization. Success in this role comes from ownership, transparency across the supply chain, disciplined followup, and a "deliverresults" mindset. Job responsibilities include but not limited to:
Proactively identify and mitigate supplier delivery risks impacting North America Manufacturing (Powertrain) operationsBuild, implement, and execute supplier recovery plans, including shortterm buildandship actions and longerterm recovery strategies for critical componentsPartner directly with critical suppliers to drive accountability, execution discipline, and sustained recovery performanceCoordinate across Engineering, Capacity Planning, Production Planning, Logistics, Supplier Quality, Purchasing, Materials Logistics Management, and plant teams to align priorities and remove execution barriersIdentify and deliver costsavings opportunities, including premium freight avoidance, capacity optimization, and recovery cost reductionProvide clear, highvisibility communication to leadership, escalating risks appropriately to prevent production disruptionsOwn issues endtoend with strong followup, transparency, and a resultsdriven mindset in a fastpaced SCM environment
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, or a related field5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Production Control, or a related operational roleHandson experience working with data, including the ability to collect, clean, transform, and analyze datasets from multiple sourcesPrevious experience using Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Power BIProven ability to influence and drive and building strong relationships across functions and organizationsStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex supply issuesDemonstrated customerfocused mindset, balancing urgency, quality, and collaborationConfidence interacting with external suppliers and effectively communicating supply risks, recovery plans, and recommendations to senior leadership and North America manufacturing plantsStrong problemsolving, analytical, and decisionmaking skills, with the ability to navigate complex, fastmoving situations
Preferred Qualifications:
