Quality Systems CAPA Specialist

As a Quality Systems CAPA Specialist, you would assist the Quality Systems Manager with maintaining and improving our organization's Quality Management System (QMS) and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented successfully. This is a unique opportunity for an individual with a multi-faceted skill set to thrive. Main Areas of Responsibility Perform and report on Quality System Internal Audits on all shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd) Collaborate with subject matter experts on corrective and preventive actions, both internal and external Develop and maintain documentation in regard to the QMS Continuously improve the QMS through special projects Skills Required Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to work independently and with others Ability to see the big picture and how one process affects another Good computer skills, especially word processing and Google applications Proficiency with problem solving models (8D, PDCA, Design Thinking, etc.) as well as root cause analysis tools (5 Why, Ishikawa Fishbone Diagram, FMEA, etc.) Other Must be flexible—willing to divide time between all shifts in varied environments May be required to attend continued education/training courses Must have reliable transportation Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Experience with ISO9001 or other standards preferred Auditing experience a plus but not required Benefits Health Insurance Vision Insurance Dental Insurance 401(k) with matching Paid time off Paid holidays Referral bonuses Tuition reimbursement Weekly pay Salary is commensurate with experience.
