This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality and safety of both the vehicles we service and the technology solutions we develop. As a Vehicle Inspector, you will play a critical role in maintaining these standards, leveraging your expertise to inspect various automotive systems and components, ensuring they meet regulatory standards and our high-quality benchmarks. Conduct detailed inspections of vehicle electronic systems, mechanical components, and safety devices to ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company standards. Document inspection findings and prepare detailed reports outlining any defects or areas for improvement. Collaborate with the engineering team to integrate new technologies and enhancements into vehicle inspection processes. Evaluate vehicles for functionality, safety, and reliability, using advanced diagnostic tools and software. Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements in automotive inspection techniques. Participate in continuous training sessions to enhance inspection skills and understand new OpenLane technology applications in the automotive field. In-depth knowledge of electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems in vehicles. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for vehicle inspection. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reporting. Ability to work collaboratively within a tech-driven environment. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) Certification preferred. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
