We supply our aggregate products to our customers in a timely manner. With such growth we are looking to add another individual to our team experienced or with the right attitude to learn and retain skills.

On-the-job training Growth opportunities Safe work environment Detroit Bulk Storage is currently accepting applicants for a Scale House Operator at our River Rouge work facility. Scale House Operators are responsible for weighing in and out all trucks that leave our facility. Each truck that leaves our yard must have a ticket printed by the Scale House Operator. The Scale House Operator balances tickets on a daily basis and sends reports of that days loads to our main office. Pay is going to be based on experience. Anyone willing to learn we are willing to train. Overtime after 40 Hours. Work week is usually 55 to 60 hours a week. Looking for someone who is familiar with excel.

Responsibilities:

Learn our ticket system and print weight tickets for our loads. Make sure all the correct information is on the tickets. Keep a clean work area wiping down computer and desk daily. Showing up to work on time. Able to work extra hours incase a job runs late. This is an entry level to moderate level position with tons of potential for future growth such as Driving positions, Loader positions, Dock Management, Traffic and logistics and many more.
