Receiving Inspection Technician

Position Summary:

Lanzen, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Receiving Inspection Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for inspecting incoming materials and components to ensure they meet company and customer quality standards before entering production. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, basic inspection skills, and experience working with blueprints and quality systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive and inspect incoming supplier parts against purchase orders for accuracy and completeness Perform dimensional inspections in accordance with an AQL of 2.5 Verify part conformance to engineering drawings/blueprints and confirm quantities Accurately enter purchase order receipts and inspection data into the ERP system Tag and identify inspected materials appropriately Communicate discrepancies or quality issues to internal teams Submit supplier packing slips and inspection documentation for recordkeeping Initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) in GSS for supplier-related issues Review and verify material certifications and maintain certification logs Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and customer requirements
