Quality About the Role Dynasty Fab LLC is expanding its Quality‑Led Operations model and seeking a Quality Lead to support technical quality functions across the shop. This role is ideal for someone who is detail‑driven, documentation‑strong, and highly capable in dimensional inspection. You will build quality packets, bubble prints, perform first article inspections, verify critical features (threads, holes, tolerances), and manage laser inspection reports. This is a high‑impact role that ensures every job is launched correctly and every part meets customer and industry requirements. Key Responsibilities Documentation & Job Launch Create complete Quality Packets for new jobs, including: Inspection plans Weld maps Material certs Traveler/Router quality sections Customer‑specific documentation Bubble / red‑line prints for inspection and process control Verify correct drawing revisions and documentation before job release Inspection & First Articles Perform First Article Inspections (FAIs) to AS9102‑style expectations Conduct dimensional inspections using: Calipers, micrometers, height gages Thread gauges Pin gauges Go/No‑Go gauges Hole size verification tools Review and interpret laser inspection reports (CMM/laser scan data) Compare laser data to print tolerances and identify deviations Support incoming, in‑process, and final inspection as needed Quality Systems Support Assist with NCRs, corrective actions, and root‑cause analysis Maintain traceability and documentation accuracy Participate in daily operations meetings to identify risks early Work closely with Scheduling, Production, and Engineering to ensure quality requirements are understood and followed What Success Looks Like Every job launches with a complete, accurate, audit‑ready quality packet FAIs are clean, complete, and correct the first time Bubble prints are clear and easy for inspectors to follow Threads, holes, and critical features are verified consistently Laser reports are interpreted correctly and issues are caught early Documentation is organized, traceable, and compliant Quality issues decrease because risks are identified before production begins Qualifications Experience in Quality, Inspection, or Manufacturing Documentation Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Experience with FAIs, AS9102, or aerospace/defense documentation Proficiency with dimensional inspection tools, including: Go/No‑Go gauges Thread gauges Pin gauges Hole verification tools Experience reviewing laser/CMM inspection reports Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to communicate clearly with welders, supervisors, engineering, and leadership Experience in fabrication, welding, machining, or assembly environments is a plus
CWI, NDT
Level II, ASQ certifications are bonuses but not required
