Duties:

Provide metrology services solutions to service center customers; apply and train customers in the use of measurement and quality control technologies, specifically in the use of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and Calypso measurement software. Operate one or more of the center's measuring devices along with the associated software suites at the respective service center. Setup and run all lab measurement equipment. Set up and calibrate CMM machines. Deliver inspection reports per the job request. Monitor each system's performance for accuracy/repeatability issues. Peer review job results with colleagues. Assist site manager with quoting as necessary. Review job requirement review with site manager and review result with customers. Hybrid WFH/office option within normal commuting distance of Wixom, MI. Domestic and international travel may be required up to 50% for client service calls and meetings.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree•and 2 years of post-bachelor's experience. Experience must include CMM operation and programming and Statistical Process Control with Calypso software, dimensional drawing, metrology/quality intelligence, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), Basic Metrology Theory.
