Monday- Friday, 7:30am

Identify quality and compliance issues related to product, processes, and records: Escalate issues and identify affected items. Work with Quality Engineering to initiate holds and nonconformance records for the affected product. Perform receiving inspection, in-process, and lot acceptance activities as required per the applicable Quality System process. Follow dispatch reports or other inspection priority lists to ensure completed inspections are meeting rate and throughput expectations. Verify materials, components, and products meet quality specifications both visually and dimensionally in accordance with specifications or other Quality System requirements. Produce accurate records of completed inspections, as well as accurate descriptions of nonconformance issues when required. Demonstrated ability to perform the required activities of at least two of the areas: incoming receiving, in process, or lot acceptance. Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED-General Studies Certificate-Machine Trades or equivalent work experience. Valid identification and the ability to work legally in the United States. Minimum of 1 year experience in quality inspection 2+ years of experience, preferably in a Medical Device or Component manufacturing environment Knowledge and understanding of basic Quality Systems (nonconformance, equipment calibration) Knowledge and understanding of inspection standards Ability to read, write in English, comprehend and follow work instructions. Ability to use a computer Ability to use hand tools Good manual dexterity and visual ability with high attention to detailPhysical & Mental Demands:
Walking is required within the office/shop areas. Sitting, standing, turning the head and torso, reaching, grasping, bending and flexing the arms, legs, wrists, and fingers are physical requirements. Must have correctable eyesight and good depth perception. Must be able to sit for long periods of time. Must be able to walk, sit and occasionally climb and balance. Must be able to lift 30 pounds and move objects in a safe manner using proper equipment. Must have dexterity with hands. Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks and complete them within a timely manner (results oriented); Ability to make decisions with limited information. The mental and physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.Work Environment:
This is a non-smoking, professional manufacturing shop with normal lighting and climate control. This position may require one to move throughout the shop and office and may be subject to airborne contaminants and chemical odors as would be customary in an injection molding/ Precision Machining shop. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an individual encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.Protective Clothing Required:
When in certain locations of the facility, eye and ear protection are required. Closed-toed/ Slip resistant shoes are also required in certain locations.
