Production Supervisor or Quality Manager Full time, M-F, 1st shift Job Summary The Quality Control Technician is responsible for ensuring that products are accurately packed, sealed, and meet company quality standards before shipment. This role focuses on inspecting, verifying packaging accuracy, identifying defects, and maintaining consistent quality throughout the pack-out process. Key Responsibilities Inspect packs and boxes during and after the pack-out process to ensure quality and accuracy. Verify correct counts, pack configurations, inserts, and special cards according to production specifications. Ensure packaging materials (wrappers, boxes, labels, shrink wrap) are properly applied and free from defects. Monitor pack-out lines for issues such as misfeeds, damaged cards, incorrect assortments, or missing components. Remove and document defective products, including bent, scratched, or misprinted cards. Perform random sampling and quality checks at designated intervals during production runs. Record inspection results and report quality issues to supervisors or production leads. Assist in identifying root causes of packaging or product defects and recommend corrective actions. Ensure compliance with company quality standards and production procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work area following safety and handling guidelines. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in quality control, manufacturing, or packaging preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify small defects. Ability to follow written procedures and production specifications. Basic record-keeping and reporting skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Skills & Competencies Attention to detail Excel Proficiency Quality inspection techniques Problem identification Communication with production teams Time management Consistency and accuracy Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 25-40 lbs if required. Repetitive hand and visual inspection tasks. Good eyesight for detecting minor card defects. Work Environment Production or warehouse setting. Exposure to automated packaging equipment and conveyor systems. May require shift work during large production runs.Pay:
