Benefit Category:

Hours Worked:
Normal hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday with semi-regular travel or overnight stays expected. Hours must be flexible to meet the needs of the organization. What You Will Bring to
Our Team:
The ideal Quality Assurance Specialist is detail-oriented, passionate about continuous learning, and committed to supporting service outcomes and individual program plans. They possess strong research skills and are eager to grow their knowledge base. They demonstrate the ability to understand and apply all relevant Department of Human Services, Department of Health regulations, and company policies. A genuine enthusiasm for helping others learn and succeed is a valued asset in this role. Must meet the qualifications of a Designated Manager which includes any of the following: Baccalaureate degree in a field related to human services and one year of full-time (2,080 hours) work experience providing direct care services to individuals with disabilities or individuals age 65 or older. Associate's degree in a field related to human services, and two years (4,160 hours) of full-time work experience providing direct care services to individuals with disabilities or individuals age 65 and older. Diploma in a field related to human services from an accredited postsecondary institution and three years (6,240 hours) of full-time work experience providing direct care services to individuals with disabilities or individuals age 65 and older. A minimum of 50 hours of education and training related to human services and disabilities and four years (8,320 hours) of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or individuals age 65 and older under the supervision of a staff person who meets the qualifications identified in a., b., or c. AND three (3) years of supervisory level experience in a program providing direct support services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older. Must also be able to meet the following qualifications: 3 years experience of quality assessment of Home and Community Base Services Driver's license and pass a motor vehicle record check Meet the physical requirements as outlined in the physical assessment Possess good oral and written communication skills and organizational skills. Excellent time management, project management, and research skills. Able to read and write in English. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook Express and Internet Explorer. Experience in training program plan development and employee training. The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for assisting with the assurance of high-quality services, by fostering consistent and productive quality management practices through program policy, forms, licensing, audits, investigations, and employee training. Track and report on service quality. Assist in the development of program procedures to ensure program quality. Oversight of Program Licensing, Policies and Forms for 245D and other services as requested. Conduct audits to ensure program and training quality. Conduct program related investigations. Provide orientation and annual training to staff and conduct a variety of employee trainings. Coordinate processes to ensure Provider Enrollment requirements are met and maintained.
