This role is responsible for developing and maintaining CMM programs, supporting new product launches, creating inspection documentation, and ensuring products meet dimensional and quality requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong programming experience, GD&T knowledge, and a passion for precision measurement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Develop, modify, and maintain CMM programs using PC-DMIS software. Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering during new product introductions and process launches. Communicate nonconformance findings to supervisors, machinists, and production personnel. Design and develop CMM fixtures to support inspection requirements. Create and maintain CMM work instructions and inspection documentation. Perform dimensional inspections using a variety of precision measurement equipment, including: Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) Hand-held precision measuring tools Optical comparators Other inspection and testing equipment Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements. Ensure inspection activities are completed accurately and efficiently while maintaining quality standards. Support continuous improvement efforts related to inspection processes and quality systems. Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation. Qualifications Previous experience programming CMMs using PC-DMIS software. Strong understanding of blueprint reading and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing). Experience working with precision measurement equipment and inspection techniques. Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate manufacturing software systems. Ability to work independently with limited supervision. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Dependable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting manufacturing and machining operations. Knowledge of fixture design for inspection applications. Experience creating work instructions and quality documentation.
