Job Description

Provides technical and operational leadership to the heart rhythm physiological monitoring labs. Manages projects and serves as a key subject matter expert for one of the following functions: quality assurance, outreach, technical systems, vendor management. Represents department at organizational/vendor meetings.
Responsibilities may include:
system upgrades, integration of vendors and new equipment, new outreach customers, and performing quality assurance for the lab. As a member of leadership, partners closely with supervisors and takes initiative to proactively identify solutions for the lab. Independently manages projects related to the Heart and Physiological Monitoring Labs. Assists with quality and process improvement to improve the clinical, research and educational operations. Oversees projects and system enhancements, works closely with equipment specialists to troubleshoot exiting technical issues and test compatibility with reporting and imaging systems. Troubleshoots and triages errors and enhancements within system. Provides technical, clinical, and billing guidance to colleagues. Identifies opportunities and recommends solutions. •This vacancy is not eligible for sponsorship / we will not sponsor or transfer visas for this position. Requires a bachelor's degree with a minimum of one year of experience, or a high school diploma or GED with a minimum of five (5) years of experience as an ECG technician. Requires advanced knowledge of ECG interpretation and holter scanning. Advanced knowledge of ECG and cardiac monitoring clinical, educational and research practices. Must have excellent communication and public relations skills and the ability to manage several projects simultaneously. Must have demonstrated ability to work harmoniously in a team environment and independently. Must demonstrate ongoing flexibility and creativity in identifying changes to improve equipment efficiency. CPR training is required. Some travel is required in this job position. Master's degree preferred. Licensure or Certification CRAT (Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician) National Certification is required within one year of employment. BLS required.
