Job Title:
Quality Inspector Job Description The Quality Inspector plays a vital role in ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality. This position involves performing various inspections, audits, and communicating with production supervisors to address and correct any non-conforming materials. Responsibilities Perform First Article inspections to ensure products meet initial quality standards. Conduct inspections of in-process and finished products in manufacturing areas. Communicate with production supervisors to identify and correct non-conforming materials. Perform receiving inspections to verify the quality of incoming components and materials. Conduct surveillance and shelf life audits to maintain product integrity. Record results of final inspections and compile necessary documentation. Report quality issues to the Quality Technician or Quality Manager. Prepare records and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information. Essential Skills Proficient in visual inspection techniques and quality checks. Experience in an electronics environment, ideally 2-3 years. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word. Knowledge of soldering, electronics, and power tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications Basic computer skills with the ability to learn new programs and tools. Ability to work with minimal supervision while conducting regular inspections. Shift 6:30am - 3:00pm, Monday - Friday Work Environment Our medium-sized production floor is climate-controlled and divided into different departments. Employees spend 80-90% of their time seated, with the remaining time spent standing or walking short distances next to machines. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Creve Coeur, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
