The Quality Technician will provide quality assurance by assisting the operations team, investigating defects, maintaining quality control processes, performing audits, and ensuring that products meet customer specifications. Job Responsibilities Reviews design plans, process procedures, test procedures, and quality manuals to understand the scope, requirements, and function of products. Ensures products meet the quality and product integrity requirements of both the organization and the customer. Supports product development and operations team by providing analysis and expertise throughout the inspection and laboratory processes. Collaborate with production teams to identify and address quality issues, non-conformities, and root causes. Analyzes data to identify trends in product quality or defects with the goal of mitigating and preventing reoccurrence and future defects. Learns all aspects of the quality department and assists in maintaining consistent coverage. Performs other duties as assigned.Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
1 year of previous experience in a quality assurance or quality control role required, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Microsoft word and excel experience preferred. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and interact with employees at all levels of the organization. Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Self-motivated and excellent problem-solving skills.Physical Demands:

Prolonged periods of sitting and a desk and working at a computer. Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds frequently. Ability to reach and lift objects above the shoulder. Ability to reach, bend at waist, stretch, stoop, kneel or squat to place and retrieve items. Ability to walk or stand frequently and for prolonged periods of time. Ability to work in an environment that may be extremely loud at times. Ability to work in an environment that can be extremely hot or cold for extended periods of time. Ability to wear PPE (personal protective equipment) as required for the position. This position works mostly indoors.Job Type:
