Job Description
Quality Assurance Inspector Duties:
- Perform inspections on in-process production and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards in a CNC machining job shop
- Use a Zeiss CMM and precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to take accurate measurements
- Collect and analyze data to identify trends or issues in product quality
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions
- Prepare in process inspection docs for the shop floor.
- Participate in ISO audits and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Quality Assurance Inspector or similar role required
- Proficient in using a CMM and precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret technical specifications
- Excellent data collection and analysis skills
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and techniques
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
