Job Description

Quality Assurance Inspector Duties:
  • Perform inspections on in-process production and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards in a CNC machining job shop
  • Use a Zeiss CMM and precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to take accurate measurements
  • Collect and analyze data to identify trends or issues in product quality
  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with production teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions
  • Prepare in process inspection docs for the shop floor.
  • Participate in ISO audits and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Quality Assurance Inspector or similar role required
  • Proficient in using a CMM and precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret technical specifications
  • Excellent data collection and analysis skills
  • Knowledge of quality control procedures and techniques
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
