Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our metals manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will ensure that all products meet rigorous quality standards by conducting precise inspections and analyses throughout the manufacturing process. Your expertise will help maintain our commitment to excellence, safety, and compliance with industry regulations such as
ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA
regulations, and GMP standards. Duties Perform thorough quality inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems. Utilize advanced measurement tools including coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify dimensional accuracy and conformance to specifications. Conduct regular quality audits in accordance with
ISO 9001, ISO
13485, HACCP, CGMP, and other relevant standards to identify areas for improvement. Collect and analyze data related to product quality, process performance, and inspection results to support continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with
ISO 9000
regulations and industry-specific standards by maintaining detailed inspection records and documentation. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to address quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions effectively. Participate in calibration of measurement instruments and maintain calibration records to ensure measurement accuracy at all times. Qualifications Proven experience in quality control or quality inspection within a metals manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of quality systems such as QA/QC protocols, quality management principles, and industry standards including ISO 9001 and
ISO 13485.
Familiarity with calibration tools like calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems; experience with coordinate measuring machines (CMM) is highly desirable. Understanding welding codes and procedures Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret technical data accurately and identify deviations from specifications. Experience conducting quality audits and implementing corrective actions within a manufacturing setting. Visual weld inspections Ability to operate or be trained in the precision measuring instruments confidently and maintain meticulous inspection records. Pay:
$23.15 - $34.00 per hour
