Job Description

Job Summary This position has the responsibility and authority to perform all inspection functions. The primary responsibility of this position is to inspect completed products, subassemblies, components, and production records according to established procedures to ensure that functional, visual, mechanical, dimensional and quality system requirements are met. It is responsible for following all quality system requirements and procedures as well as any additional customer and regulatory requirements. May assist in data entry and record keeping. May a ssist in conducting formal procedural inquiries and investigations to determine the cause of quality problems and recommend verbal and/or written corrective action as required. Role and Responsibilities Responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints Accurately perform measurements using calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, height gages, and various other measuring instruments Record measurements on applicable documentation Responsible for documenting and segregating non-conformances found during work assignment Responsible for following Quality Policy, all quality system requirements and procedures/work instructions, all regulatory requirements, as well as any additional customer requirements. Responsible for Quality Objectives related to his/her work assignment area. Responsible for following company safety and environmental procedures/practices. Responsible for review of Job Travelers. Performs First Article Inspection/Documentation according to customer specifications. Perform non-routine task assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of inspection experience using precision measuring instruments. Experience with
ISO 13485
requirements within the medical industry a plus. Experience with
ISO 13485
requirements within the medical industry a plus. Ability to read blueprints. Strict attention to detail.
Education Requirements:
High School Education or Equivalency Physical Requirements:
