CMM Technician SUMMARY:
Feuer is seeking an entry-level CMM Technician to help grow our CMM department. The CMM Technician role requires some understanding of manufacturing processes and precision machining. We will train the right candidate.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with all measuring room test equipment: CMM, shaft circular, and form deviation machine (Jenoptik CFM similar to Adcole), surface finish and form measuring machine, calipers, and micrometers.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Some experience using typical shop hand tools like mics, calipers and height gages. Strong attention to detail, concentration on technical data, and strong math skills. Good mechanical skills and aptitude. Must be comfortable communicating both in the engineering office and on the shop floor. Minimum Education is High School Diploma, but technical degree is a plus. Ability to bend, stoop, grip, reach and lift up to 40 lbs. on a repetitive basis. Able to stand the majority of the shift to perform duties (8-12 hour shifts).
