Position Summary:
The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for monitoring the production process to ensure that finished goods meet company quality standards and customer specifications. This role verifies adherence to food safety, sanitation, and regulatory guidelines and supports the maintenance of quality control documentation and processes.Key Responsibilities:
Monitor production lines to ensure product quality and compliance with specifications. Verify cleanliness and sanitation of equipment post-cleaning. Perform and document monitoring activities for Critical Control Points (CCPs) such as metal detection . Identify and report non-conforming product or processes; support corrective actions. Maintain accurate and timely quality records and documentation. Communicate with Production, Maintenance, and Sanitation teams to resolve quality issues. Assist in training production employees on quality and food safety expectations. Participate in GMP, SOP, HACCP, and SQF training sessions and implement best practices on the floor. Keep work area clean and follow all safety procedures. Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in Food Science or related field preferred. Previous experience in food manufacturing or quality assurance preferred. Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, and basic quality testing procedures. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.Please apply here:
