Job Description

Quality Assurance Technician - 1st
Shift Pay:
$15.00/hour
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM start Position Summary The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for supporting and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure products meet customer expectations and internal quality standards. This role plays a key part in monitoring compliance, driving continuous improvement, and supporting quality initiatives across the facility. Key Responsibilities Maintain and support the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring ongoing effectiveness and compliance Track and document internal audits, corrective/preventive actions (CAR/PAR), and management review activities Log, monitor, and communicate customer complaints and corrective actions Perform quality checks to verify product meets customer specifications Assist in developing and maintaining procedures, work instructions, and quality documentation Collect data and generate reports for performance tracking and visual management boards Coordinate document control processes and calibration programs Participate in internal and external audits Support training initiatives related to
QMS, ISO
standards, and quality processes Communicate quality policies and expectations across the facility Identify and report quality or production issues that may impact output or performance Assist in controlling non-conforming materials and ensuring proper corrective actions Support continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen events and cost-saving projects Track and report improvement metrics, including cost reductions and efficiency gains Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all safety policies and procedures Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Must be at least 18 years old Previous manufacturing experience preferred (6+ months), but not required Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Strong organizational and documentation skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Reliable attendance and punctuality Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement Why Apply?
