Job Description:
Inspector/ Quality Control Inspector/Quality Control role involves ensuring product quality through precise measurement, documentation, and process monitoring. Key duties include using measuring equipment, identifying discrepant material, and maintaining accurate records to support production standards. Key Responsibilities (Inspector / Quality Related Roles):
Quality Monitoring:
Perform, record, and interpret product inspections to ensure specifications are met.
Measurement:
Accurately utilize, read, and maintain measurement equipment (e.g., gauges, calipers).
Documentation:
Legibly document inspection results and process data.
Problem Prevention:
Proactively identify and report quality issues, providing input for continuous improvement and scrap reduction.
Material Control:
Identify and handle discrepant material, including developing rework operations.
Qualifications:
Ability to understand and follow, procedures, work instructions, and process documents. Basic math skills (fractions and decimals).
