QC Tech

    Concord/Charlotte
Near Charlotte Motor Speedway Schedule:
12-hour rotating shifts (2-2-3; days/nights, weekends required)

$26.25 Direct Hire Opportunity! QC Tech
  • Position Summary The QC Technician is responsible for performing lab testing, documenting results, and ensuring products meet quality standards. This role supports production, research, and logistics by providing accurate and timely data while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. QC Tech
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine lab tests (e.g., pH, viscosity, density, particle size, GC analysis, etc.) following established procedures
  • Record and maintain accurate test data in systems and logs
  • Interpret results and communicate findings promptly, including out-of-spec conditions
  • Conduct instrument calibration and maintain lab equipment
  • Support product releases, sample retention, and customer complaint testing
  • Coordinate with drivers and logistics for incoming/outgoing shipments and paperwork
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
  • Follow all safety and quality procedures
  • Provide coverage for shifts, including overtime as needed Qualifications Required for QC Tech
  • Minimum 1+ year of laboratory or quality testing experience
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math and computer proficiency (Microsoft Office;
ERP/LIMS
systems helpful)
  • Effective communication skills and team-oriented mindset Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks (bending, climbing, etc.)
  • Work in varying temperatures (indoor/outdoor)
