We are seeking a skilled CMM Programmer to support quality and inspection activities in a precision manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and executing CMM programs to ensure products meet engineering specifications and customer requirements. The CMM Programmer will work closely with Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, program, and execute CMM inspection programs for production and first article inspectionsInterpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and customer specificationsProgram and operate CMM equipment using PC-DMIS or similar softwarePerform first article inspections (FAI) and in-process inspectionsAnalyze inspection data and communicate results to quality and engineering teamsIdentify nonconformances and support root cause and corrective action activitiesMaintain inspection documentation, reports, and recordsSupport continuous improvement efforts related to quality and inspection processesCalibrate and verify inspection equipment as neededAssist with audits and customer quality requirements as required
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience programming and operating CMM equipmentProficiency with PC-DMIS (or comparable CMM software)Strong knowledge of GD&T and blueprint readingExperience with multiple CMM platforms or probing systemsExperience performing first article and production inspectionsFamiliarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001 or AS9100Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and collaborate cross-functionallyBenefits
