Quality Control Inspector 4.0 4.0 out of 5 stars 1011 Lincoln Commerce Court, Denver, NC 28037 From $17 an hour - Permanent, Full-time Green New Energy Materials 4 reviews From $17 an hour - Permanent, Full-time As a Quality Control Inspector at Green New Energy Materials, you will be responsible for formal inspection, measurement, and documentation of materials and finished products to ensure they meet established specifications. This role focuses on precision, data accuracy, and compliance , supporting overall product quality and regulatory standards. Key Duties & Responsibilities Product Inspection & Measurement Inspect raw materials, in-process components, and finished products for defects and specification compliance. Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection equipment. Perform detailed dimensional and functional checks according to technical standards. Testing & Verification Conduct required quality tests and verification procedures. Ensure products meet internal specifications and customer requirements before release. Escalate non-conforming materials for further review. Documentation & Reporting Accurately record inspection results, defects, and test data. Maintain quality records and input data into quality systems (ERP/MES or databases). Track defect trends, scrap rates, and rework data. Non-Conformance & Corrective Action Identify and document non-conforming materials or processes. Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA). Collaborate with Production and Engineering teams to resolve quality issues. Standards & Compliance Follow established quality procedures, SOPs, and inspection protocols. Support internal and external audits (e.g., ISO or other quality systems). Ensure compliance with company and industry quality standards. Equipment Calibration & Maintenance Ensure inspection tools are calibrated and functioning properly. Report any equipment issues and coordinate maintenance or replacement as needed. Qualifications & Requirements Education & Training High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree or higher preferred. Experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, or related field strongly preferred. Technical Skills Proficiency with precision measuring tools and inspection equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions. Familiarity with quality systems, documentation, and ERP/MES platforms is a plus. Key Competencies High attention to detail and accuracy. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to document findings clearly and consistently. Effective communication and collaboration skills. Physical & Work Environment Standing for extended periods and working in a manufacturing environment. Use of inspection equipment and tools requiring fine motor skills. Ability to lift materials as needed and work near production machinery. Willingness to work shifts, including evenings or weekends, based on production needs.
