Position Statement:
The Material Manager plays a critical role in the success of our projects and the company. In addition to making sure materials arrive on time, are stored safely, and are delivered to the site safely, they provide important support to the project managers.
Schedule:
This is a full-time position. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., 40 hours per week. Overtime requires approval - may include some evening/weekend work.
Travel:
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area travel may be expected.

Compensation:
$15 - $17 hourly
Responsibilities:
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of construction materials to various job sites, supporting project timelines. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to maintain an efficient supply chain and prevent material shortages. Oversee the safe loading, unloading, and transportation of materials, adhering to safety regulations and company protocols. Maintain organized records of material deliveries, inventory levels, and transportation schedules. Collaborate with project managers to understand material needs and adjust delivery schedules as required. Conduct regular inspections of delivery vehicles and equipment, ensuring they are in optimal working condition. Assist in site clean-up activities, ensuring a safe and tidy work environment for all team members and contractors involved in the project.
Qualifications:
Experience in delivering construction materials safely and efficiently to various job sites. Ability to coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure a smooth supply chain and prevent material shortages. Proven track record of adhering to safety regulations and company protocols during material loading, unloading, and transportation. Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records of deliveries, inventory levels, and transportation schedules. Effective communication skills to collaborate with project managers and adjust delivery schedules as needed. Proficiency in conducting regular inspections of delivery vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal working condition. Capability to assist in site clean-up activities, promoting a safe and tidy work environment for all team members and contractors.
