Complies with all safety policies and procedures. Demonstrates teamwork in all phases of operation. Weighs ingredients to meet recipe specifications and inserts into machinery. Experienced and capable of working in both food-grade and Industrial operations. Troubleshoots equipment and processing issues. Examines materials visually to ensure conformance to established standards. Operates machinery to mix, discharge, or handle materials according to operating procedures.
Required Skill:
Must be able to read/comprehend written and oral instructions in English; read and comprehend safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and product recipes/materials. Must have mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide and to apply these skills to weights, measures of volume, and distance. Must effectively communicate in writing and verbally in English. Competency in computer and PC software including email, internet, and MS Office. Must have manual dexterity for hand tools of various types. Must be able to drive a forklift. Must have problem-solving skills and some mechanical aptitude. Associate Requirements HS Diploma or GED Background Check Able to Lift 60 pounds Drug Test Must be at least 18 years old The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $21.00 - $21.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
