Job Description Quality Technician Purpose:
Supporting the Quality team means special laboratory testing of products and providing analytical support for quality control and quality assurance. You will work closely with the QC supervisor to identify defects, line products, and test products for consumers. An associate degree is preferred, and coursework in a laboratory setting is highly desired. Understanding of lab instruments and ISO is a plus. On-the-job training and mentoring will be provided. Roles & Responsibilities:
Follows all safety rules and safety policies at
UNIQUETEX LLC.
Strong understanding of the quality policy at
UNIQUETEX LLC.
Provide support in means for sample requests, special projects, and line trial quality. Be a team player in which they can communicate and help others when needed. Learn to integrate sample library for future sample requests and customer needs. Keep safety a high priority and maintain detailed documentation as required. Input data for certificate of analysis for customer specifications. Track and communicate issues with upper-level management. Collaborate with Operations, Sales and Warehouse as needed. Learn to identify and report quality issues to improve product. Maintain a detailed record of laboratory equipment issues. Perform testing on production samples.
Qualifications:
Associates degree preferred. Manufacturing experience preferred. Results-oriented and able to handle multiple projects. Excellent written and oral communication skills required. Proficiency with Microsoft Word required including basic Excel skills. Detail oriented.
