Occasional Saturdays as required Position Summary The Quality Technician works in a laboratory environment performing inspections and analytical testing on raw materials, in-process batches, and finished products. This role supports quality control operations and collaborates closely with production and technical teams to ensure products meet established standards. Key Responsibilities Quality Control Operations Perform routine testing of raw materials to support purchasing decisions and reduce variability Conduct testing on in-process batches and finished goods; communicate results and recommend adjustments as needed Follow established testing procedures within the quality management system Accurately document and record all quality control data and test results Assist in investigating and resolving internal and external quality issues (nonconformances) General Responsibilities Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory workspace Follow all safety protocols and regulatory requirements Communicate effectively with operations, production, and technical teams Complete additional tasks as assigned by leadership Qualifications Education & Experience Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a science-related field preferred Relevant experience in a chemical manufacturing or laboratory environment considered in lieu of degree Experience with inks, coatings, or similar materials is a plus Skills & Competencies Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills Ability to document results and communicate findings clearly Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) SAP experience preferred Ability to distinguish color nuances (role-dependent) Experience with color matching or color theory is a plus Physical Requirements & Work Environment Frequent standing and walking in a laboratory setting Occasional bending, kneeling, and squatting Ability to lift up to 40 lbs Exposure to varying temperatures and chemical odors Additional Information This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with potential for long-term placement Candidates must be comfortable working in a lab + manufacturing environment Flexibility required for occasional Saturday overtime 10200077 Share this job Copied url To save a job sign in or get started To apply for this job email your details to I want more jobs like this in my inbox.
