Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to support our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for ensuring first-quality production, identifying non‑conforming product, and working closely with manufacturing personnel to meet quality, efficiency, and waste reduction goals. Key Responsibilities Inspect and verify first-quality product for packaging and shipment Identify, contain, and communicate non-conforming quality issues Perform physical testing and dimensional measurements Measure product weight, thickness, and specifications per customer requirements Conduct sample cutting and testing during startup, production, and restarts Communicate results and adjustments needed to line operators and supervisors Complete required documentation, process control sheets, and data entry Support continuous production by monitoring quality during run, tail-out, and restart procedures Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards Tools & Equipment Used Tape measure, thickness gauge, scale, extensometer Droop jig, dust jig, and die press Zebra printer and quality documentation systems Computer for basic data entry and record keeping Skills & Qualifications Basic math and measurement skills Ability to accurately use a tape measure and measurement tools Basic computer skills (Excel and data entry) Understanding of manufacturing or CNC environments preferred Ability to communicate effectively with production teams

MUST HAVE PROVEN QUALITY EXPIRENCE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THESE POSITIONS

Willingness to work 12-hour day or night shifts

Schedule:

2-2-3's working every other weekend Physical & Work Environment Requirements Standing, measuring, and handling samples throughout shift Hot and cold manufacturing environment Use of hearing and eye protection required Working around production equipment with moving parts and pinch points Preferred Experience Prior quality control or manufacturing inspection experience Experience in CNC, foam, pads, extrusion, or industrial manufacturing environments Understanding of production processes and quality specifications Why PROMAN Staffing ?
